Since opening our doors in 2002, Celebration Homes have passed a key to over 10,000 eager West Aussies. That’s helping over 10,000 people fulfil their dream of homeownership. There’s no doubt we’ve learnt a lot along the way, but our priorities of providing quality homes and exceptional customer service have never wavered.
We sat down with Celebration Homes’ General Manager, Stuart Jeffs, to get the low down on the Celebration Homes experience and how our homes have evolved throughout these 10,000 completions.
Building 10,000 homes is a huge achievement, what does this mean to the business and anyone thinking of building with Celebration Homes?
This is a huge achievement for the team. It means we have been able to help over 10,000 people fulfil their dream of homeownership and settle in to a home they love. For anyone trying to visualise how many people that is, it’s roughly the same population of Esperance! That’s a huge achievement we’re proud of and keen to mark as a point in our history.
For anyone looking to build with Celebration Homes, this gives them peace of mind. It provides confidence that they are building their new home with a trusted builder that has the history to prove its success.
How have our homes evolved over the years?
Over our nearly 20 years, floorplan trends have changed but our clients still come to us for a great customer experience and a large, affordable family home. We’ve always been committed to ensuring people are getting a home they will love and one that will last.
We have seen many trends come and go. A formal dining area at the front of the home was a must-have for our clients at one point in time. People also looked for a corner bath in the ensuite and a games room was a popular entertainment space preferred indoors.
Other trends have stuck around. Features like a cinema room are non-negotiable for many of our clients now. In recent years we’ve also noticed a growing demand for a scullery in the kitchen for extra space. Overall our clients now prioritise a centralised kitchen with storage space and a great outdoor living area for their family.

How do you see our homes evolving in the future?
Our homes are ever-changing. One area I see us focusing more on is incorporating a more environmental focus and creating more eco-friendly homes. This is becoming more popular with our clients and an area our homes will evolve to in the future. I also see our homes incorporating more smart technology and features as they become available. It’s very exciting to see how we rise to this challenge and where the design and construction of our homes can go in the future.
