1.  Land is selling fast!

First up, land is selling fast. Across Perth thousands of blocks are being snapped up quicker than you can say ‘government grants’, but that doesn’t mean the perfect Home & Land package isn’t still available.

2. Don’t buy any land, buy the right land

One of the best things you can do in this market is to buy land that is already titled or will title in the next few months. That means it’s ready to build on. This is one of the things you need to ensure you have the best chance of accessing the grants.

When you work with a builder like us to find land, we can make sure it’s titled and that you don’t buy a block that will come with high site work costs, or other issues. We can help guide to you the right blocks and access exclusive land too.

3. Finance is important

Before you can start shopping around for a Home & Land package or even put any land on hold, it’s important to speak to a finance broker. They’ll help you find out how much you can borrow and explain all the ins and outs surrounding the construction finance. Once they believe you’re eligible for finance, they’ll provide a letter of eligibility (LOE) and that’s your ticket to new home shopping!

4. Land doesn’t need to soak up all your budget
