Overlaid vertical and horizontal boxed walls provide a bold focal point in the front elevation of Celebration Homes’ new Empire display in the Village at Wellard.
The chunky walls in contrasting shades of render, divide full-height corner windows that extend horizontally below the eave and are finished with modern glazing bars, giving the facade an attractive contemporary style.
An uncluttered Colorbond roof in a complementary neutral shade and a classy semi-transparent, metal-trimmed sectional door on the double garage complete the look.
The four-bedroom, two- bathroom home has more than 258sqm of total living area, including open-plan living and dining areas, separate home cinema and study and an alfresco area under the main roof.
Sales and marketing manager Anthony Staltari said the Empire had contemporary lines, comfortable open spaces and blended style with functionality.
“In a market where land is scarce and the average lot size continues to reduce, homebuyers are still seeking all the internal features that large homes have traditionally offered,” Mr Staltari said.
“The Empire has been designed to respond to both these demands, offering a functional layout that features a study, stylish inclusions such as CaesarStone benchtops and a spacious open-plan layout — combined in a generous-sized home to suit a 15m-wide lot.
“The galley-style kitchen, with fashionable CaesarStone benchtops and quality stainless-steel appliances, is centrally located, adjacent to the family and dining rooms, making the most-used room in the house a design highlight when entertaining guests.”
The family room in the display version opens to an alfresco area in the back corner of the home.
The study and home cinema are on either side of a broad entry, beyond the main suite. The cinema has ample space for seating opposite a broad wall for a big-screen TV, and the study is tucked out of the way, yet just a few steps from the kitchen, providing a quiet place for children to do their homework while allowing parents to easily supervise their activities.
Bedrooms are zoned to separate adults from children, with the main suite at the front and three minor bedrooms in a separate wing beyond the dining area and kitchen.
The main suite has a spacious sleeping area, brightened by the feature windows of the front elevation, plus a walk-in robe and an open ensuite with four-door squareform vanity unit, shower and separate toilet.
Each minor bedroom has a built-in robe.
The bathroom and laundry are also in this wing.
